Tigers show well at national meet
Molly Pert and Alex Rogers were the top Tigers at the U SPORTS Championship.
The Dalhousie Tigers were at the Universite de Sherbrooke on Saturday for the U SPORTS Cross Country Championship.
In the women's race, the Tigers finished in 16th place as a team, behind the Victoria Vikes who captured the gold medal, STFX with the silver and the UBC Thunderbirds in third.
Molly Pert was the top Tiger in the women's race finishing with a time of 29:38.00 in the 8KM course for 32 place. Juliet Pulfrey crossed the line next in 66 place and Mila Souilliere crossed the line in 104 place in her first national championship.
In the men's race, it was Queen's Gaels who won gold, followed by hosts Sherbrooke Vert et Or in second and the Guelph Gryphons in third. The Tigers finished in 19th place.
Alex Rogers was the top Tiger in 72 place with a time of 26:15.00, followed by Grayson Butler in 92 and Isaac MacLean in 95 place.
