Bio
Anton is head of basketball operations at Dalhousie and serves as an assistant coach for the Women's basketball team.
Before stepping into his current role, Anton served as the interim head coach of the women’s basketball team during the 2021–22 season, following a year as an assistant coach. He also spent seven years as an assistant coach with the men’s basketball program, where he played a key role as lead assistant and defensive coordinator, helping the team capture five AUS conference championships as well as a national silver and bronze medal. Most recently, Anton was the head coach of the Nova Scotia men’s basketball team at the 2025 Canada Games.
A native of Dartmouth, NS, Anton previously taught at Dartmouth High School for 9 years and served as their athletic director. He and his wife Shauna have two children, a son Orion and a daughter named Ayla.
