The Tigers had another great showing on day two of the CIS championships. First-year sprinter Matthew Coolen led the way for the Tigers, placing fourth in the 60m hurdle events while Celia Peters and Chantelle Robbertse posted fifth place finishes in the 1000m run and long jump events, respectively. At the end of day two the women are in 12th place, while the men sit in 10th.
After two days of competition, the Tigers took home both the men's and women's AUS championship titles.
The Tigers won 11 events on day one of the Subway AUS Track and Field Championships in Moncton, N.B.
The field events and relays took place on Saturday at the ANS open
The Tigers competed at the ANS Open at the Canada Games Centre on Saturday and 17 members of the team had individual event wins.
