Murchison joins Tigers for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers men’s hockey head coach Chris Donnelly is pleased to announce the commitment of Carter Murchison for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, the 5’11 forward played the past three seasons with the Pictou County Crushers in the Maritime Hockey League. Over his three seasons with the Crushers, Murchison played 117 games, scored 46 goals and 91 assists.
“I am very excited to be joining the Dal Tigers this upcoming season.” Says Murchison. “Not only is the schooling top notch but the growing potential of the hockey team really excites me. Can’t wait to get going in September.”
The high honors student will be studying arts at Dalhousie.
“Carter is an intelligent player, who plays a relentless game and possesses the skills to allow him to be an offensive threat.” Says Donnelly. “He will bring some much-needed offensive energy to our program."
The Tigers open their 2025-26 season at UNB on October 3.
