Tigers add Dunits for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers men’s hockey head coach Chris Donnelly is pleased to announce the commitment of Kai Dunits for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, the 6’0 forward played for the Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) where he was the assistant captain. Playing in over 50 games in the NAHL, Dunits collected 37 assists and 15 goals in his two seasons.
“I’m super excited to have the opportunity to join Dal and take the next step in my athletic and academic journey.” says Dunits. “I can’t wait to share this experience with a great group of guys.”
Dunits will be studying commerce at Dalhousie.
“Kai brings defensive excellence to our team.” says Donnelly. “He has great speed and intelligence, enabling him to take away time and space from opponents. Kai also has an offensive upside that we look forward to developing over his time at Dalhousie.”
The Tigers open their 2025-26 season at UNB on October 3.
