Tigers add Bujold for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers men’s hockey head coach Chris Donnelly is pleased to announce the commitment of Ben Bujold for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, the 6’0 centre played for the Branford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2023-2025. Bujold missed this past season due to an injury, but in 2023-2024 put up impressive numbers with 40 points in 60 games. Named assistant captain to the Bulldogs and community player of the month in 2023, Bujold played for the London Knights who selected him in the first round of the OHL priority selection in 2020 from 2021-2023.
“I'm super excited to meet the team, we have a lot of new guys coming in and I think we'll be a competitive team for years to come.” Says Bujold. “My season ended very shortly after a concussion I suffered in preseason, so I'm extremely excited to get back playing hockey especially in a city like Halifax and a school like Dalhousie.”
Bujold will be studying arts at Dalhousie.
“Ben is a former number one draft pick of the very successful London Knights team in the OHL.” Says Donnelly. “Ben is highly skilled, two-way player, who utilizes with his intelligence to play just as hard defensively as he does offensively. We are very excited to be adding his competitive demeanour to our program.”
The Tigers open their 2025-26 season at UNB on October 3.
