Cameron earned B Final finishes in both the 200m backstroke and the 200m IM, with both performances marking lifetime best swims. He also delivered a record-breaking performance in the 100m breaststroke, setting new Dalhousie and Swim Nova Scotia senior records with a personal best time.
In addition to his individual success, Cameron swam the breaststroke leg on the relay that secured the Tigers’ Top 10 team finish at the national championships.
Quinn Nolan also delivered an outstanding performance this weekend at the USPORTS Swimming Championships, contributing 26 points to the Tigers men’s swim team.
He placed in the C Finals in all four of his individual events - the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly, and 50m breaststroke. In the process, Quinn recorded personal best times in each race and set new Dalhousie and Swim Nova Scotia senior records in the 50m breaststroke.
Quinn also swam a strong leg in the 4x100m freestyle relay, helping the team produce the second-fastest relay time in Dalhousie and AUS history, narrowly missing the record by just a few tenths of a second.
A native of London, ON, Nolan is doing a Masters in Resource & Environment Management.
