U SPORTS Top Ten Tuesday (Nov. 12)

U SPORTS Top Ten Tuesday (Nov. 12)

This week's Top Ten features the men's basketball team staying in the number 2 spot and the women's volleyball team locked in at number 3.

TORONTO (U SPORTS) – The Alberta Golden Bears and Ryerson Rams are the new teams to beat in men’s hockey and women’s volleyball.

On the ice, the Golden Bears (9-1-0) are back on top of the national rankings after a home-and-home sweep of the Calgary Dinos. Alberta hosts the Regina Cougars this weekend.

On the volleyball court, the Rams (6-0) return to the No.1 ranking for the first time since the final week of last season (Mar. 5, 2019) thanks to a pair of five-set victories over Guelph and then-ranked No.5 Waterloo. In their lone game this coming weekend, the Rams will host the RMC Paladins on Friday night.

In other U SPORTS rankings, Concordia (women’s hockey), Carleton (men’s basketball), Saskatchewan (women’s basketball), Calgary (men’s swimming), UBC (women’s swimming), Trinity Western (men’s volleyball) remain at No.1 for another week.
